Paradoxed?

1. We spend countless number of hours to decide which college to join or which test series to enroll for. And in the great Indian arranged marriage algorithm, we choose our LIFE partner in 20 minutes flat.
2. We watch matinee porn show in the morning. And in the afternnon, we burn effigees of Richard Gere.

Isn't the mentality of a conservative Indian paradoxical in itself?

Hypocrisy is the essence of all Indians. We tend to exhibit double standards at everything we do in life.
This issue is just another small example.

Paradox Explained: (1) The algorithm has been performance-tuned by the best all-time brains in the world - Our Ancestors. No wonder, it delivers effective result in 20 Minutes flat.

I just hope our ancestors had left some aslgorithm for choosing B-School as well in Vedas or Upanishads.

(2) A life-partner is not as important as a tag according to Great Indian Values.

Now, I feel you will stop saying it is paradoxical.

Keep Laughing.

1. The great Indian arranged marriage depends on the tallying of Kundalis. And those are determined by the movement of the stars in the sky when you were born. Now since light left the stars, say 10 million years ago, the choice of a life partner is determined in 10 million years, not 20 minutes :P

1++. Love marriage algorithms don't take more than a second. "Love at first sight"

2. One Indian watches the porn. Another burns the effigies. Not both of them are conservative. :D
